WHY FOAM IT?

FOR INSULATION:

Sprayed Urethane foam applied as insulation directly to interior of flat roofing

Foam insulation being applied to sloped metal roof

Multiple roof penetrations and skylights present no obstacle for Sprayed Urethane Foam Roofing

Sprayed Foam Roofing can often be applied over an existing roof. The one piece seamless monolithic system is finished with an elastomeric coating to protect from exposure to sunlight. This coating allows for expansion and contraction of the system without cracking or splitting. Sprayed Urethane foam roofing's self-sealing properties eliminate the need for flashing and the nightmares associated with multiple roof penetrations. (See diagram below) Ideal for flat, metal or curved or dome roofs.

FOR ROOFING:

Self flashing properties of Sprayed Foam Roofing are just one of the many benefits

Many of America's largest companies such as General Motors, Ford, IBM and institutions, both public and private, including the George Bush Presidential library, rely on the superior waterproofing and energy saving advantages of sprayed foam roofing over conventional methods.
Texas A & M University began using polyurethane foam for re-roofing their facilities 20 years ago. The results of careful studies conducted by A&M showed savings on both maintenance and energy. These savings, combined with the the performance of millions of square feet of polyurethane foam roofing in place, led to the use of polyurethane foam only for all new and replacement roofing. Below is a recap of the study conducted by Gerald Scott, Director of Energy, Texas A&M University.
